Red's Sandwich Shop

This morning I enjoyed breakfast at Red's Sandwich Shop, a quaint breakfast/lunch diner, in Salem Massachusetts. This historic diner is in the former London Coffee House and was built c.1698.

Situated along a red cobblestone road is this fantastic place for a meal. It is where the Patriot's dined prior to the Revolution. The food is cooked on demand and served hot and fresh. It's competitive to other area restaurants and is quite inexpensive for the avid tourist.

I recommend from the breakfast menu the Steak Tips and Eggs and if you are in the mood for a salad for lunch, just one will feed 4. If you are on portion control this is not the place to eat. In order to keep it manageable I would recommend skipping the home fries and asking for half of what they normally put on a sandwich.

This is a must stop destination for any tourist looking for high quality, quantity, and inexpensive dining.
